Urban Petals is looking to expand our team immediately (start date of August 1) and we're accepting applications through July 22. Interviews will be held July 24-26. The following positions are available:
Urban Petals is looking for an energetic, kind individual who is detailed oriented, two years of design experience is preferred, can lift at least 40 pounds, can stand for long periods of time, must be available Wednesday – Saturday and weekends/holidays, can climb ladders, create epic flower things, loves people, ADORES flowers, is flexible, has a great sense of humor, is an expert at problem solving, can follow directions, is very organized, and proactive. If you are interested in this part-time, hourly position, please follow these instructions for applying:
1. Submit a portfolio of your best work with 20 images that include the following: bridal bouquet, bridesmaid bouquet, boutonniere, wrist corsage, pin-on corsage, low arrangement, elevated arrangement, non-floral centerpiece, and a floral installation. These images should be submitted in either a pdf format attached to your email or as a Pinterest Board with a link included in your email.

We are seeking an intern for our Fall/Winter season. The ideal applicant is a dedicated, hard working individual, flower lover, interested or already active in the wedding industry, loves people, can hustle, isn’t afraid to get a little dirty, and is eager to learn about the floral industry. Availability Wednesday through Saturday is a must but we can be flexible to accommodate class schedules.
The position is unpaid; however, you will gain on the job experience in a flourishing event studio, learn floral design principles, gain valuable behind-the-scenes experience, work closely with the Owner and Principal designer, and take home loads of flowers.

We are looking to hire strong individuals for our event crew. This position involves assisting the design staff with set-up and tear-down on event days. Applicant must have a clean driving record, be able to lift and carry at least forty pounds, work quickly, efficiently, and be professional in time-sensitive situations. Event days consist of loading vehicles with flowers, hard goods, equipment, supplies, etc. and supporting design staff in various ways. After the event is over, the event crew will assist in breaking down the event late at night, collecting flower arrangements and Urban Petals’ rental items, package them up, and transport items back to the studio. Pay is $10/hour.
