Job Summary: We are seeking a Part-Time Retail Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse facility. This position is ideal for an individual with a strong background in warehouse operations management who is seeing a flexible work schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
· Communicate consistently with the boutique owner regarding upcoming events, shipments, and operational needs.
· Monitor and manage store cleanliness, organization, and maintenance ensuring smooth operations.
· Maintain appropriate levels of supplies for retail, floral, and operations.
· Maintain accurate records of inventory, operational activities, reporting to the boutique owner as needed.
· Oversee inventory management processes including: receiving, storing, and tracking products.
· Manage event inventory; prepare for events by pulling and cleaning supplies, prepping mechanics and vases, securely packing product and loading vehicles; clean and restock inventory after event.
· Utilize inventory management software to track inventory levels, monitor stock, and generate reports.
· Communicate with vendors to ensure inbound logistics.
· Assist in the resolution of any inventory issues such as discrepancies, damages, or delays.
· Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and reducing costs.
· Maintain a clean and organized warehouse to optimize space utilization and safety.
· Supervise warehouse operations staff including training and providing guidance to ensure a productive team.
Qualifications:
· Strong organization skills and attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively and efficiently in a small business environment.
· Familiarity with inventory tracking software.
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse management or similar supervisory role.
· Understanding of safety regulations and best practices within a warehouse environment.
· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs.
· Physical ability to lift and move packages and materials, as required.
